The Wrong Umbrella

Last Tuesday it was raining hard when Hieu left the bookshop near his school. He took his black umbrella from the box by the door and ran to the bus stop.

While he was waiting for the bus, he opened the umbrella. It was black, but it was bigger than his umbrella, and it had a wooden handle. Inside there was a small card with a name and a phone number on it: Mr Vinh.

"Oh no," Hieu thought. "I've taken the wrong one!" He didn't want to miss his bus, but he wanted to do the right thing. He walked back to the bookshop in the rain.

An old man was standing at the door. He was holding a small black umbrella, and he looked worried. "Is this yours?" he asked. "I think I took it by mistake, and now I can't find mine."

They laughed and changed umbrellas. Mr Vinh was a retired teacher, and he came to the bookshop every Tuesday afternoon. Now Hieu and Mr Vinh meet there every week. Mr Vinh helps Hieu with his English, and Hieu tells him about the newest books for teenagers.
